Mission Field: Brazil
Jeremy and Joneia Bennett were saved when they were young children and called to full-time Christian service around sixteen. Jeremy grew up in a Christian home, and Joneia is a third-generation missionary. After attending Heartland Baptist Bible College and graduating with their degree in Missions, God guided the Bennetts to do two internships. They first interned at Allen Creek Baptist Church in Marysville, Washington, and then God led them to Worth Baptist Church in Fort Worth, Texas. Jeremy and Joneia knew that God wanted them to be on the foreign mission field, but God had not yet shown them which country He wanted them to serve in.
While serving and interning at Worth Baptist Church, the desire to visit family in Brazil was present in their hearts. The Bennetts prayerfully considered going to Brazil for the Christmas of 2020 to be with family for the holidays and make it a survey/missions trip as well. While they were there, God began to speak to Jeremy about returning to help the Yelle family in Southern Brazil. They both began to pray and ask God if it was more than a burden, but a call to the field. After a few weeks, He made it clear to them that yes, Southern Brazil was where He wanted them to serve.
